They're an iconic fashion statement where I'm from - usually go with a pair of leggings.

Cute. In colder climates I'd consider it.

Thigh-high or knee-high boots are more my fashion, though.

No and with hose there's no risk of them sticking. Though there are some leathers and hides more comfortable than others.

I can appreciate a guy that likes his leathers
but you won't catch me dead in a pair of knee-highs

A good majority of my outfit is more for fashion than function. Of course, now that I’m here and not fighting, fashion will take priority.

I prefer comfort. If my PA hadn't wrestled me into blazers I never would've worn them.
